Engineering & operations advisory

Infrastructure that performs for decades.

Corporate is an independent advisory group for the owners of energy, transport, water and industrial assets. We help you plan, deliver and run them better — and prove it.

Who we are

About Corporate

We are engineers, operators and advisers who have spent careers inside the organisations we now serve. Our work starts where strategy meets steel, concrete and control rooms — and ends when the improvement is running without us.

Corporate is independent of contractors and equipment suppliers. That lets us give owners advice that is grounded in engineering and accountable to outcomes.

Solutions

Five practices. One accountable team.

Each practice is led by people who have run the assets they now advise on. Most engagements draw on two or three of them.

Industries

Sector depth where the assets are hardest to run.

Six markets, each served by people who have worked inside them — from network control rooms to processing plants.

Illuminated quay cranes lining a container terminal at dusk under a deep blue sky

Ports & Logistics · Northern Europe · 2025

Client: Regional container terminal operator (demo)

Challenge
Vessel sizes had grown faster than the terminal's quay. Crane availability averaged below target, and yard congestion at peak meant trucks waited up to two hours.
Approach
Measure the losses → Fix reliability first → Re-plan the yard → Make it stick
Outcome
Within nine months the terminal handled materially more moves per crane hour, and truck turnaround fell to under an hour at peak.

How we work

From diagnosis to durable performance.

One team stays with the work from the first site walk to the moment the improvement runs without us.
  1. Phase 01 · 4–6 weeks

    Diagnose

Walk the sites, read the data and agree the few questions that matter most.

OutputFact base & case for change

  2. Phase 02 · 6–10 weeks

    Design

Engineer and cost the options, then build a plan your board and regulator can back.

    OutputInvestment-grade plan

  3. Phase 03 · Months to years

    Deliver

Lead or assure delivery alongside your teams, with weekly decisions and clear controls.

    OutputMeasured results on site

  4. Phase 04 · Ongoing

    Sustain

Hand over routines, data and capability so performance holds after we leave.

    OutputCapability in your team

  • 01

    Practitioners, not generalists

Our partners have run plants, programmes and networks. Most of our people hold professional engineering or operations qualifications.

  • 02

One model from plan to performance

The team that diagnoses the problem stays to deliver the result, so nothing is lost at hand-over.

  • 03

    Evidence your board can test

Every recommendation is traceable to data and site observation, and documented to withstand regulatory scrutiny.
